Routine tasks that require our total involvement are sometimes overlooked and taken for granted. Things like cleaning the house, cooking a meal, or going to work might seem like automatic reactions; but the quality and care that motivates these things make them far beyond something that should be looked at as simple or unimportant.
Since we are sometimes expected to do these things without any thought of recognition or reward, we begin to do them as second nature. What we don’t realize is that the brilliance that it takes to make the things that we do on a daily basis seem routine, makes our actions exceptional.
Although, there are some things that can be measured for value, there are other things that are priceless. Love, dedication, determination, and discipline are a few of those things. We practice these things on a regular basis, but are they really ordinary?
